The Summoner is a Boss type that spawns a massive amount of drones to use as their main ammunition. It is rather weak
Design
The Summoner appears as an abnormally large Square, with 4 spawners, one on each side, similar to the Arras.io version of Necromancer; they rapidly spawn Square drones. The drones are not really fast, however.
Technical
The Summoner's drones spawn very fast. The drones have medium health and have medium speed.
Strategies
Strong against: Weak tanks who do not know what they are doing, Smasher-branch
Weak against: Most other tanks, small armies, especially Machine Gunner, Auto Gunner and Streamliner.
The Summoner should be countered by bullet spammers like the Penta Shot,
The Thaumaturge should not be underestimated. Even though it's still one of the weakest relatively, it's still very strong coming down to its swarm drones. Counter it like a Summoner but be aware that the swarm drones will chip away at a player's health.
Trivia
- The Summoner exists in both Diep.io and Arras.io, as well as in Woomy Arras. It’s the only boss with this ability.
- As of May 2023, the Summoner is still considered a "Strange" boss, as its spawn message when spawning (outside of Siege) is "A strange trembling....". It is unknown if the other Mystical bosses spawn in Gamemodes outside of Siege, as none has ever been spotted,
