The Eternals are extremely powerful bosses that appear exclusively in Siege. The Eternals were originally one of 2 final bosses that appear in siege prior to the siege overhaul, the other being the Legionary Crasher. They Share the same design format as that of the Celestials and Terrestrials, but have 4 layers instead of 3, from topmost to bottommost: pentagon, heptagon, nonagon, hendecagon.
Currently there are 3 known Eternals, 2 upcoming and 1 in development: Ragnarok, Kronos, and Amun.
Ragnarok was first added into the game on June 5th, 2021, the same day as the first Siege rework occurred.
Kronos was officially added into the game on July 13th, 2021, months after a developer had spawned the latter into a siege game.
Amun is currently under active development and has not been released yet. It was revealed in a leak alongside 26 new celestial variants on June 14th 2025.
Overview[]
Ragnarok is the first known Eternal to be added, when it was added, it was first known as a celestial, before being its own boss type; it was later changed to Eternal upon the endless siege overhaul update. It is the Hexagon and previously Legendary Eternal.
Design[]
Ragnarok has the following design:
- Pentagon layer: Gunner Cruiser turrets, which have two cannons and two Cruiser spawners.
- Heptagon layer: Cannons that fire Auto-Smasher-shaped projectiles.
- Nonagon layer: Drone Spawner that spawns Hexagon-Shaped Drones.
- Hendecagon layer: Trapper Turrets.
Technical[]
Ragnarok was a final Boss of Siege until the endless siege update. It still can spawn but it's no longer a final boss. It has extremely high health and very powerful set of weapons on its arsenal that far exceed most other Bosses, as well as being very large, it fills almost the whole screen when present. It begins to make appearances after Wave 30, after Wave 50 it spawns either alongside another Eternal or Legionary Crasher, and eventually both types spawn together. Its topmost and second-to-bottom layers spin counterclockwise, while the second-to-top and bottommost layers spin clockwise.
- Its Gunner Cruiser turrets are somewhat a combination of Freyja’s unique weaponries combined together, but both projectile types deal slightly higher damage.
- The Sprayer turrets fire Auto-Smashers as missiles, they are high health and do fatal damage; in addition, they also shoot at players, which can can kill them from afar if not paid attention to.
- The Hexagon drones it spawns are extremely tough and very dangerous. They deal high to fatal damage upon collision. The boss can have up to 18 hexagon drones at a time. The drones have an large amount of health, being able to withstand several destroyer bullets. They are slow-moving but can deal massive damage when they strike.
- Its Trapper auto turrets serve as its defensive weapons. They act similar to the ones used by the Celestials, that being not actively targeting any player, and have some form of “swinging” motion due to the layer’s continuous spinning. The traps they fire are larger, and somewhat slightly stronger.
Ways to recognize its presence[]
Some ways of recognizing Ragnarok's presence on the map include:
- A teal dot on the map. If this dot is there and it's alone, it's Ragnarok.
- Bullets and giant Gem drones are a case closer.
- If Ragnarök has already killed as much as 1 player, it's presence on the server is already known.
- Unique auto-smasher missiles and strong gem drones are also a sure sign that Ragnarök is close by.
Trivia[]
- Although Ragnarok was the first final boss to be added into the game prior to being considered a Eternal, it was actually the third final boss to be added; With Kronos being the first, the Legionary Crasher being second, and Ragnarok being the third.
- In addition, when it was first added into the game, it was first considered as a Celestial when first added. Four days later the bosses' name was changed to be considered its own boss type rather than being a name in order to keep itself distinguished from Celestial Variants. When the Siege Overhaul update released, Ragnarök is now considered an Eternal alongside Kronos.
- As such, if the player has killed or performed an assist-kill against Ragnarok, the notification will say “You killed a visiting Ragnarök.” or “You assisted {player name} in killing a visiting Ragnarok” (depending on whether the player somehow managed to solely land the killing blow or it was an assist-kill). Note the word visiting, which is also used on other non-Celestial Bosses in Siege as they do not have a name upon spawning. If you died to any of its attacks, the main cause of the death will say: "succumbed to a Ragnarok" and thus it will say: EX: "an unnamed player killed you with a Ragnarok gem drone"
- Ragnarok (Often written as Ragnarök), in Norse mythology, is a series of catastrophic events, including a great battle, that lead to the end of the world and the death of the gods. It is a key event in Norse cosmology, signifying destruction and ultimately, rebirth. The term translates to "Doom of the Gods" or "Twilight of the Gods".
- In a leak revealing Amun, a third Eternal, Ragnarok was renamed to Odin for unknown reasons. Odin is a prominent figure in Norse mythology, known as the Allfather and a god of wisdom, knowledge, magic, death, and warfare. He is a complex deity associated with various aspects of life and death, including poetry, runes, and ecstasy. Odin is also recognized in other Germanic cultures under names like Woden and Wuotan.
- Ragnarok’s existence and eventual addition to the game was leaked first in a datamining effort, along with Theia’s.[1]
- Ragnarok's color scheme is an exact match of the colors of Hexagons and previously Legendary Polygons.
- Ragnarok's original size value was 250 upon being added into the game. When Kronos was added its size value was dropped down to 220 so both Ragnarok and Kronos could be the same size.
Kronos was the second known Eternal to be added into the game. It was first known as the Eternal itself as it was first spawned into the game by a developer months before being added into the game for good. It it the Egg Eternal.
Design[]
Kronos has the following design:
- Pentagon layer: Triplet Auto turrets that have their middle barrel replaced with that of an Machine Gun.
- Heptagon layer: Carrier Auto turrets that behave the same as the players.
- Nonagon layer: Elite Skimmer-like auto turrets that fire "Alpha Skimmer Missiles", these missiles are different unlike the one fired by the Elite Skimmer in-game, as they instead fire traps on the sides instead of bullets.
- Hendecagon layer: Trapper Turrets.
Technical[]
Kronos, being one of the final Boss in Siege, features a massive health and weapon arsenal that surpasses most of the other Bosses, as well as an incredible size in comparison to them. On earlier waves (Waves 30-50ish) it spawns alone, but afterwards, other Eternals and the Legionary Crasher tend to also spawn, together with Kronos. Its topmost and second-to-bottom layers spin counterclockwise, while the second-to-top and bottommost layers spin clockwise.
- Its Triplet turrets act somewhat similar to the player version, except the middle cannon acts like a Machine Gun and it has higher bullet damage and penetration.
- Its Carrier turrets act somewhat similar to the player version.
- The missiles that its turrets at the third layer shoot, called “Alpha Skimmer Missiles” are modeled somewhat similar to Zaphkiel’s missiles, except the side cannons are replaced with trap launchers. The traps are small, but tough. The Missile Cannons have massive range, causing them to fire missiles all over the map making it very tough to restore sanctuaries and the missiles deal high to fatal damage upon hitting a player.
Some way of noting its presence include:
- White Giant missiles, Giant traps, Huge flying bullets, and Swarm drones.
- White dot that moves slowly.
- If Kronos has already killed as much as 1 player, its presence on the server is already known.
Trivia[]
- Kronos was previously known as the Eternal, months before being officially added into the game.
- This boss was first proposed by one of the Arras.io developers months ago.[2]
- It used to be thought of as a Celestial variant, and could only be spawned by the developers. It was removed sometime, but eventually made a return, probably in preparation for its official implementation.[3] On its reintroduction into the game’s code, it was actually smaller than Ragnarok by 30 size points. A few days later Ragnarok’s size value was dropped down to 220, so they could both be the same size. Additionally, this pre-matured type of info also occurred with the top and final layer of Kronos, as it was originally named after Ragnarok’s top layer, the Ragnarok Gunner Cruiser.
- Strangely, Kronos is the variant name for the Eternal, with the latter being the name for the Boss type.
- As shown in a screenshot prior to its release, its Alpha Skimmer Missiles used to shoot small blocks instead of regular traps, although they didn’t seem to be functionally different.

- In Greek mythology, Kronos was the son of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaea (Earth), being the youngest of the 12 Titans. He was also the leader and youngest of the first generation of the Titans. He married Rhea and sired 6 gods (Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and lastly Zeus) ad swallowed all but Zeus, who was replaced by a rock. Zeus subsequently led a revenge quest to defeat Kronos and freed his siblings, which ultimately succeeded and the latter establishing the Olympian era.
- Kronos's color scheme is an exact match of the color scheme of Eggs.

Amun is an upcoming Eternal in active development. It is the third Eternal to be added to the game. It is the Shadow Eternal.
Design[]
Amun has the following design:
- Pentagon layer: Fork Turrets.
- Heptagon layer: Undertow Turrets.
- Nonagon layer: Desmos Turrets.
- Hendecagon layer: Trapper Turrets.
Technical[]
Amun being a Eternal in Siege gives it known as one of the strongest bosses in siege due to its massive health pool and arsenal of weapons. It can start spawning as early as wave 30 and after wave 50 it can spawn alongside other Eternals or even the Legionary Crasher. In addition its most troublesome ability in its arsenal is it' ability to always be semi-invisible similar to Both the Rogue and Pursuer Arms Race tanks, as it can be difficult to detect on the map unless it is exposed by enough firepower from players and bosses alike, or if it gets close to a sanctuary.
- The Fork bullets fired from the pentagon layer can reach long distances. Due to the Fork turrets being confirmed to be the older version of Fork, the bullets frag upon destruction not exclusively limited to range, capable of landing ferocious damage on Sanctuaries, Players and Rogues alike.
- The Undertow bullets are large and they, like the tank counterpart, can pull in players and projectiles like a magnet.
- The Desmos bullets fire off in a wave-like pattern and can cause trouble if not paid attention to.
Some ways of noticing its presence include:
- Semi-Invisible projectiles that move both fast and slow.
- Faint gray/black dot that moves very slowly.
- If Amun has killed as much as 1 player, it's presence on the server is already known.
Trivia[]
- Amun (also spelled Ammon) was a major ancient Egyptian deity, often associated with Thebes. He was initially a local god, but rose to prominence during the Middle Kingdom and became the most important god of the Egyptian pantheon in the New Kingdom. His name means "the hidden one," symbolizing his nature as an unseen, powerful force. He was eventually merged with the sun god [1], becoming Amun-Ra, the "King of the Gods".
- Amun's color scheme matches that of Shadow Polygons.
- Amun is currently the only boss in the game to have invisibility, and the only one to always remain invisible like both the Rogue and Pursuer.
- Amun's Fork turrets are in pre-nerf Fork state, the version with the bullets able to frag at any distance.
- Confirmed by @_damocles in one of the previous general channels in the arras.io discord server.
Strategy[]
- Strong against: Most tanks, small groups of tanks, groups of rammers
- Weak against: Larger groups of tanks, specifically bullet spammer
Against the Eternal[]
- A massive team of well-coordinated players are needed to take down, let alone damage the Eternal due to its extremely powerful stats and weapons. Expect a sanctuary or 2 to be destroyed after it appears and starts making it's move, especially if the initial attack against it didn’t immediately defeat it. Should the first attack also failed, it would be difficult to take the Eternal down with the inconsistent spawning of players, losing proper coordination.
- Make use of the Sanctuaries provided for the team, as it provides healing whenever Healers aren’t available. Its traps may also help block a few projectiles, particularly against the Eternals various long-ranged mini projectiles. They can also help block the projectiles fired from said boss should it come close enough to allow players to damage it up close without needing a large group of them.
- A large group of Penta Shots in the corner may work but comes with risk. If such group fails to defeat the Eternal, the surviving members may struggle leaving the area either to return to nearby Sanctuaries or to restore them while the onslaught of bosses is still happening.
- A group of Septa-Trappers or any trapper tank class that surrounds themselves in traps can provide an easy way of not only helping players regroup together, but also block many if not all of the Eternals attacks from reaching them. A Healer alongside the group should also be constantly healing the tanks blocking the attacks as if they are taking damage from the boss.
- In addition, the Eternal's default siege build is 2/7/1/5/6/5/5/0/0/0.[4]
Trivia[]
- Due to it's design and properties, the Eternal is the 2nd current strongest boss in Arras.io
- Ragnarok is actually stronger than Kronos by a bit, and will consistently win against Kronos if they were to fight against each other.
- Upon killing a player, the Eternals are shown to spawn with 4 million score, the most out of any boss in the game.
- The Eternals also used to have unique spawn messages when they spawn. This was removed on the endless Siege overhaul update. There messages included:
- "The reality comes to an end as Ragnarok finally arrives!"
- "Do you believe in Ragnarok?"
- "The finale is about to begin"
- “The sky darkens as the ground slowly begins to crumble... The end is near.”
- The Term "Eternal" is known to have several different definitions and connections to mythology, such as:
- Definition:
- (adj) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning; always existing.
- (Similar) Valid for all time; essentially unchanging.
- (informal) Seeming to last or persist forever, especially on account of being tedious or annoying.
- Mythology:
- Deities and Immortality, such as gods or goddesses across various mythologies.
- Endless Rebirth and Reincarnation, where beings may be reborn or reincarnated into new existences.
- Symbolism of Eternity, certain symbols such as the Ouroboros (a snake eating its tail), the Phoenix (a bird that regenerates from its ashes), and the Ankh (the Egyptian symbol of life) often tend to represent the concept of eternity and the cyclical nature of life and death.
- Definition:
- Prior to the endless Siege update, an update occurred where the Eternal bosses often spawned in the middle of the map, being invulnerable to damage for 3 seconds upon spawning. This would instantly kill players that were present in the middle.
- An additional update that occurred prior to the endless siege overhaul was also added where they would spawn small and then grow to their original size value as to prevent players from instantly dying upon its spawning and get out of the way.
- The Eternals so far (Sans Kronos) are the only bosses to have unique color schemes that distinguish themselves from other bosses. Many of the current celestials share their color schemes with other, lesser bosses.
