A Nest Keeper and a few Elite Crashers after destroying a Sanctuary in Siege.

The Bosses (aka Visitors) are AI-controlled large entities in Arras.io, that spawn randomly upon certain conditions. There are currently twenty-nine types of Bosses, seven of them being the Elite Crashers, an Elite Skimmer, two Rogue Bosses, four Mysticals, three Nesters, five Celestials, three Rogue Celestials, two Eternals (Ragnarok and Kronos), the Legionary Crasher, and a rare Siege-exclusive boss called Bob. In arms race, there are buffed versions of these bosses (called Delta Crashers , Delta Skimmer, Thaumaturge, Alcazar, and Warden.) with slightly different names. Also, in non-Siege and non-Arms Race gamemodes, the Elite Skimmer, Rogue Palisade, Summoner, and the Nest Keeper are collectively referred to as "Strange Bosses". The bosses are far stronger than regular tanks and award tens of thousands of XP, sometimes even hundreds of thousands, to the player(s) who deals the most damage upon defeat. Bosses can gain XP like other tanks and polygons, which allows the XP reward to grow much higher than their spawn score, if they kill players before dying.

Technical

Stats

The Bosses usually have buffed stats, but some of them are nerfed. These are the Bosses’ stats compared with the Basic:

Also, all of the bosses have a build of 3/9/2/7/7/5/6/0/6/6. You can use these stats if you want but you wont have enough points for this build since it requires 51 points so you'll have to use this build with operator or in any Growth mode, Old Dreadnoughts and Nexus. It is recommended For growth and Old Dreadnoughts to put any left over points in Speed and for Nexus Bullet Speed, Bullet Health, Bullet Penetration, Bullet Damage or Reload.

In Siege, most Bosses have stronger stats.

Behavior

In normal gamemodes, the Bosses spawn at least 10 minutes after the previous Boss is defeated or the server starts; the spawning chance increases as time passes. Shortly before they spawn, a spawn message will be broadcasted, as well as the exact moment they spawn (see Notifications for more info). When a boss is defeated, the message "A visitor has left!" will be displayed to all players in the server. If multiple bosses happen to spawn, they will always be different types/variants of bosses (there can’t be multiple of the same kind). Also, Elite Crashers will never spawn with other types of bosses (for example, "Strange" bosses or Rogue Celestials), as they can only spawn with other Elite Crashers, or just a lone Elite Crasher.

Normal Bosses

Elite Crashers

Main article: Elite Crasher

The most common type. They have pink triangular bodies, have seven different types and they look like big Sentries or Crashers. They often spawn in Pentagon Nest outside of Siege.

Name Description Strategy Image
Elite Destroyer This variant has a wide Cannon on each side called “Devastator Cannon”(similar to Big Mac),and an Auto Turret which looks like the Triplet in the center, though the firing pattern differs from the Triplet’s. The Devastator Cannons’ Bullets are bigger and stronger than the Annihilator’s. Also, it spawns normal Crashers. It is weak against bullet spammers that can nullify the boss’s Turret. Battleship, pre-nerf Carrier and tanks with a range larger than the FOV of the Turret can very easily kill it too.
Elite Gunner This variant has two Auto Turrets on its front sides. These turrets each have two Gunner cannons. The Gunner Cannons don’t do so much damage but have fast firing rate. This Elite Crasher also has a large launcher that shoots out Pillboxes, much like those used by the Engineer. There is also two short spikes that stick out on the Elite Crasher’s front, as well as another two on its backside. It is weak against tanks with upgraded health to absorb damage from Pillboxes and tanks with high damage output such as the Destroyer.
Elite Sprayer This variant mainly uses bullets as it has two Sprayer Auto Turrets on both sides and has a Machine Triple Auto Turret in the middle. This boss can be easily overpowered with a Destroyer-branch or with a team of bullet spammers.
Elite Battleship This variant uses three Auto Turrets and nine Swarm Drone Spawners. The positioning of its weapons allows it to swarm tanks while also dealing damage with its auto turrets. Teamwork is recommended to take out this Boss because of its multiple strengths.
Elite Spawner This variant has 3 spawners (one on each side) and they each spawn sentries. You don't get experience from spawned sentries. This boss also has an auto turret which looks like a twin in the center and fires similar to it. This boss is relatively easy to counter with nearly every tank due to its low defense and damage which also makes it the weakest and easiest boss to fight.
Elite Trap Guard This variant has 6 auto turrets (two on each side) and 3 trapper auto turrets (one on each side). The Elite Trap Guard is also equipped with 3 barrels and 3 trapper barrels on its center. Multiple players are needed to take one down: its many powerful weapons make it difficult to approach. Its lack of offensive weaponry though, is its weakness, and allows players to out-penetrate with superior firepower. Uncropped Elite Crasher Defender
Elite Spinner This variant is equipped with a total of 9 Gunner-like barrels that are pointed outwards, it uses 3 of them on each of its sides. The Elite Spinner is also equipped with a single Cyclone Turret on its center. The Elite Spinner is laughably weak alone and can be soloed by a single high-DPS tank. However it is a completely different story when it provides cover for other bosses/elite crashers. UncroppedEliteCrasherSpinner

Rogue Palisade

Main article: Arras:Rogue Palisade

The Rogue Palisade has 6 Trap Launchers and 6 Minion Spawners and has a Hexagon body. While the Spawners spawn 12 minions, the spawn rate is sluggish therefore it usually doesn’t get the chance to spawn a lot of drones.

Beware when battling it as even though the drones don’t deal tons of damage, the amount of them and their health prevent you from directly attacking the Rogue Palisade. If you don’t pay attention to these drones, you will be dead in no time. Use a crowd-control tank like Penta Shot and get up close, this will nullify the minions while dealing damage slowly to the boss.

Elite Skimmer

Main article: Arras:Elite Skimmer

The Elite Skimmer has a triangular body with color of the Triangle, and has a Skimmer Turret on each side that shoots Hyper Missiles. These Hyper Missiles have four cannons arranged similarly to the Fighter but without the front cannon, and travel fairly fast while resisting high damage.

This Boss can easily catch tanks that aren’t careful with their movement, but is weak against larger groups of tanks, especially with more balanced stats or those of glass cannons that can steer clear of its Missiles and their bullets.

Summoner

Here is a clear picture of summoner
Main article: Arras:Summoner

The Summoner features the Square-like body, and has four Necro Drone Spawners on each side, making it look like the Necromancer.

The drones deal minimal damage, but their large amount can quickly kill tanks, particularly if they cannot easily escape away from it. Some of the crowd-control tanks like Octo Tank or Penta Shot are effectively at minimalizing its threat, and may even quickly defeat it.

Nest Keeper

Main article: Arras:Nest Keeper

The Nest Keeper features five Twin Auto Turrets, one Boomer Auto Turret, and five Drone Spawners. It is the only boss to feature a Pentagon shape, as well as the only tank in the game to feature a Boomer Auto Turret.

Teamwork is almost always needed to kill the boss. The drones which it spawns are very slow, but deal massive amounts of damage, so they must be kept an eye on to them. The Boomer Auto Turret however deals tons of damage and is much faster, as well as the boomerang projectiles being quite resistant on damage as well, making it difficult to damage the Nest Keeper if the turret is focused against the player.

Siege Only Bosses(Except Nest Keeper and Summoner)

Rogue Armada

RougeArmadacrop1

The Rogue Armada is one of 2 friendly bosses in Arras.io and so far only appeared in Siege. It fights alongside players, while following the leader, or someone else with a score of above 32k. It reguarly shoots out traps from its Sawed off cannons, with shotgun blasts when provoked.

The Rogue Armada has 7 Shotgun cannons and 7 Sawed-off cannons and has a Septagon body.

When it spawns, it would look like a small, rogue-coloured septagon. After approximately 45 seconds, it will hatch into a Rogue Armada

Mysticals

Main article:Mysticals

Mysticals are a group of Bosses/Boss type that spawns a massive amount of drones to use as their main ammunition. They are rather weak and are exclusive to the Siege gamemode, aside from the Summoner.
Name Description Image
Sorcerer The Sorcerer appears as an abnormally large Egg with 2 spawners opposite each other, similar to Overseer. They spew out Egg-like drones called cheeseballs. They have extremely low health (similar to the polygon itself) but also have equally horrifying speeds. Similar to the Egg Sanctuary from Woomy-Arras.io. Its drones give a small amount of XP when destroyed. SorcererRender
Summoner The Summoner appears as an abnormally large Square, with 4 Necro drone spawners that have a really fast firerate. These drones do approximately 1-5 damage per drone. ArrasSummonerTransparent
Enchantress The Enchantress appears as an abnormally large Triangle, with 3 spawners, one on each side; they spawn Triangle drones at a medium firerate, while dealing approximately 2-10 damage per drone. EnchantressRender
Exorcistor The Exorcistor appears as an abnormally large Pentagon (about as big as a large-end Beta Pentagon), with 5 spawners, one on each side, similar to that of Pentamancer(only available in Arms Race). They spawn Pentagon drones that move at slow speeds but high damage, and are similar to those of Paladin, a Celestial variant. ExorcistorRender

Nester

Main arcticle:Nester

Nesters are bosses in Arras.io, There Are 3 types of Nesters, The Nest Keeper spawns in all Gamemodes while the Nest Warden and Nest Guardian Spawn in Siege. They are much more Powerful than other common bosses, with much more tanky bodies and high damage.
Name Description Image
Nest Keeper The Nest Keeper is a boss found in all gamemodes. In siege, it acts like any other boss, and attacks the sanctuaries. It does medium damage, with its main attack being its auto gunners. Compared to other nesters, the Nest Keeper is considered weak. It features 5 drone cannons, 5 double-auto cannons, and a boomer turret sitting on top. The design is based on a pentagon, which spawns in the pentagon nest. ArrasNestKeeper
Nest Warden The Nest Warden is a mostly defensive boss; it has Constructor launchers on each side. Blocks do not go far, but they are a hazard to any tanks that need free space to operate. The Cruiser auto turrets launch swarm drones which...well, act like swarm drones; low penetration and health, decent damage and speed. The Barricade Turret fires a steady stream of traps in the direction of its target, blocking most bullets coming in that were shot to do ill. Nest Warden Render
Nest Guardian The Nest Guardian is the most offensive out of all of the Nesters. The Devastator bullets are a tad bit smaller than an Elite Destroyer's, but deal equally abominable damage and have equally insane health. The Swarmer auto turrets launch hives identical to Paladin's hives; big and one shot lethal. The Twister missiles create a large bullet storm, and also are one shot fatal. Summed up it is a one shot wonder in the most literal sense. The nest guardian also acts differently from the others. It doesnt usually come up to attack a sanctuary, but rather stays at the center of the map, in fortress and citadel, and in between sancs, in blitz to create a small area where the nester stays. It wont move unless provoked, and is hard to kill. Nest Guardian Render

Bob

Main arcticle:Bob

Bob is a Rare boss in Arras.io that can occasionally spawn in Siege. When it does spawn, it is the only Boss in its wave, meaning that it can never appear with other bosses and can only spawn with eachother.

Bob vector

Bob is a fast boss (movement speed 9) and has a large amount of health, targeting the players and rather than the sanctuaries. When it spawns, it is the only boss type to spawn in its wave, making them spawn exclusively in groups (just like Shiny Sentries). Groups of Bobs can be fairly dangerous, so you will have to be careful around them.

Celestial

Main article: Arras:Celestial

The Celestial is a Boss that spawns mainly in Siege, but also has an extremely rare chance to spawn in other game modes. They're larger and stronger versions of Terrestrials. Most of them consist of three layers with the bottommost nonagon-shaped layer always consisting of Trapper auto turrets.

Name Description Image
Paladin Paladin is the purple-blue Celestial, using five Swarmer turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven Pentagon-shaped drone spawners for its middle heptagon layer. Paladin is considered the deadliest of them all, featuring one of the most powerful weapons to be on a boss, swarmers. Its counterpart, Ares, is also the strongest out of its group.
Freyja Freyja is the light green Celestial, using five Auto-4 turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven Cruiser turrets for its middle heptagon layer. Freyja is considered the weakest, but the fastest. It doesnt have a really deadly layout, with its best weapon being double-auto gunners. Its power is often matched with Rogue celestials, which are weaker in general. Its counterpart, Gersemi, is the fastest layered boss in the game, and also the weakest layered boss in the game.
Zaphkiel Zaphkiel is the light red Celestial, using five Skimmer turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven Director drone spawners for its middle heptagon layer. The Skimmer missiles are similar to the Elite Skimmer’s, but smaller.
Theia Theia is the yellow Celestial, using five hyper Twister turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven Summoner drone spawners for its middle heptagon layer. The Twister missiles have four cannons instead of two.
Nyx Nyx is the pink Celestial, using five Rocketeer turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven minion spawners for its middle heptagon layer.

Terrestrial

Main article: Arras:Terrestrial

The Terrestrial is a Boss that can spawn in Siege. They're mini versions of Celestials. They consist of three layers, with the bottommost heptagon-shaped layer always consisting of Trapper auto turrets.

Name Description Image
Ares Ares is the purple-blue Terrestrial, using five Swarmer turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven Pentagon-shaped drone spawners for its middle pentagon layer. Ares-Render
Eris Eris is the pink Terrestrial, using five Rocketeer turrets for its topmost pentagon layer and seven minion spawners for its middle pentagon layer. Eris-Render
Ezekiel Ezekiel is the light red Terrestrial, using three Skimmer turrets for its topmost triangle layer and five Director drone spawners for its middle pentagon layer. The Skimmer missiles are similar to the Elite Skimmer’s, but smaller. Ezekiel-Render
Gersemi Gersemi is the light green Terrestrial, using three auto turrets for its topmost triangle layer and five Cruiser turrets for its middle pentagon layer. Gersemi-Render
Selene Selene is the yellow Terrestrial, using three hyper Twister turrets for its topmost triangle layer and five Summoner drone spawners for its middle pentagon layer. Selene-Render

Eternals

The Eternals share the same design principal as that of the Celestials but have 4 layers instead, with the bottom layer ending with Trapper Turrets. There are currently 2 of them so far. They also each have a unique spawn message when appearing outside of siege.

Name Description Spawn Message Image
Ragnarok Ragnarök is the first known Eternal to be added, when it was added, it was first known as a celestial, before being its own boss type; it was later changed to Eternal upon the endless siege overhaul update.

Ragnarök has the following design:

Pentagon layer: Gunner Cruiser turrets, which have two cannons and two Cruiser spawners.

Heptagon layer: Cannons that fire Auto-Smasher-shaped projectiles

Nonagon layer: Drone Spawner that spawns Gem-Shaped Drones.

"Do you believe in Ragnarok?"
Kronos Kronos is the second known Eternal to be added. It was the first known Eternal to be created, having been at some point months prior to it's release spawned in by a developer. Kronos has the following design:

Pentagon layer: Triplet Auto turrets that have their middle barrel replaced with that of an Machine Gun.

Heptagon layer: Carrier Auto turrets that behave the same as the players.

Nonagon layer: Elite Skimmer-like auto turrets that fire "Alpha Skimmer Missiles", these missiles are different unlike the one fired by the Elite Skimmer in-game, as they instead fire traps on the sides instead of bullets.

"The sky darkens as the ground slowly begins to crumble... The end is near."

Legionary Crasher

Legionary Crasher

LegionaryCrasher

The Legionary Crasher has 2 layers. The bottom layer has 3 sprayer turrets on the sides and 3 pillbox launchers. On the top layer, there are 3 Elite Gunner turrets on the corners and 6 spawners on the sides which do nothing. There are also spawners underneath the Sprayer turrets which spawn Elite Crashers. The Elite Crashers it spawns are larger than the usual elite crashers. The minions are referred to as Elite Legions in their kill notification (the only such notification that comes from a drone). Elite Legions are largely based on Elite Crashers. Other than by size, the Elite Legions also have some differences from regular Elite Crashers. The Machine legion is the counterpart to the old Elite Sprayer, with 3 machine (instead of sprayer) turrets. The Battleship variant has 2 turrets instead of 3, and the Gunner variant auto-spins like the older Elite Gunner.

The Legionary crasher is considered to be the strongest of them all, with drones flying faster than the speed of light. These drones can one shot players easily, and with a high firerate, makes this boss extremely deadly.

It can also spawn in regular gamemodes, though very rarely, with its spawn message being:"The Elite Crashers were all but disciples for what you have awoken... What have you done?"

Rogue Celestial

Rogue Celestials are generally weaker and smaller than regular Celestials. They are the rarest bosses to spawn. They cannot spawn in TDM, FFA, Maze, or Sandbox. They are colored the same as Rogue Palisades as well. They got removed on January 29, 2022. But after some months later they got re-added again. Nowadays, they have a rare chance of appearing in Siege as a friendly boss that will assist the player team alongside the Rogue Palisades and Armadas.

Name Description Image
Julius Julius has five Launcher turrets for its top layer, Egg drone spawners on the middle layer, and Trapper auto turrets on its bottom layer.
Genghis Genghis has turrets similar to Elite Gunner’s on its top layer, Spawners on its middle layer, and Trapper auto turrets on its bottom layer. Roguecelestial2-removebg-preview
Napoleon Napoleon has Beekeeper turrets on its top layer, Swarm Spawners on its middle layer, and Trapper auto turrets on the bottom.
