The Atomizer is one of the current Tier 4 Tanks in Arras.io that may upgrade from the Sprayer at Level 45. The upgrade key for it is I.

Design

Upon upgrading from Sprayer, the second (smaller) barrel changes into that of a Machine Gun's, which shoots small bullets at less focused angles but with a higher firerate.

Technical

The Atomizer has two Machine Gun cannons that shoot normal and small bullets fast. The Atomizer has very volatile spread, sometimes shooting bullets sideways, which makes aiming quite unnecessary. It essentially serves as an alternative to Sprayer that fires more rapidly and uses a wider spread of bullets, allowing you to focus on only the Machine Gun aspect of the tank instead of having both the Machine Gun turret and the normal firing one.

Strategy

• Strong Against: High spread tanks, low-penetration Tanks and Rammers.
• Weak Against: Low spread tanks, high-penetration Tanks and Tanks with direct firepower.

As the Atomizer

• Its very wide spread makes aiming inconvenient and useless as most bullets will hit the target anyway. Dealing smaller amounts of damage to multiple tanks at once (crowd control) is far easier than trying to chase down one tank, especially if that tank has focused targeting and/or large bullets that excel in penetrating through weaker bullets.

Against the Atomizer

• Counter it like a Sprayer, and ironically, the Sprayer itself can most often beat an Atomizer due to its slightly more focused spread of bullets.
• Somehow, the Focal can kill the Atomizer due to its increased accuracy.

Trivia

• The Atomizer has the widest spread of bullets out of any tank in the game (Excluding arms race).
• This tank is very simular to the Scatterer.
