The Twin is a Tier 2 tank in Arras.io. It upgrades from the Basic and can upgrade to the Double Twin, Triple Shot, Gunner, Hexa Tank, Helix, Dual, Bulwark, or Musket.

In Arms Race, the Twin can also upgrade to the Wark or Duo, but cannot upgrade to the Helix.

Design

The Twin possesses two identical cannons at its front. The cannons lie offset from the tank's direct front.

Technical

The Twin's two cannons have alternate firing, effectively doubling its rate of fire. Despite this, however, its recoil is identical to that of the Basic.

Strategy

• Strong Against: Low RoF Tanks, non-focused fire Tanks, and rammers
• Weak Against: High RoF Tanks, Director classes, and Tanks like the Triplet that have better focused fire than it

As the Twin

• Players should use their two Cannons to their advantage. The Twin is better than most Tanks in combat, since its two Cannons can easily out-penetrate most other Tanks and eventually kill them.
• Beware of Sniper classes, as they could penetrate your bullets.
• Also beware of players that are using tanks higher up in the Twin branch, like the Dual, since they usually have better DPS than the Twin.
• Do not attempt to fight players that are using the Director branch. Drones are hard for a Twin to kill because of its good HP.

Against the Twin

• Do not engage the Twin in close-range combat, as that will most likely result in victory for the Twin. Fighting the Twin from a distance where its bullets will be weaker is usually a better idea. Gunners and Triplets are good while fighting the Twin in close combat, since they have extreme DPS.
• The Streamliner may win in combat with the Twin because of its powerful DPS.
• A well-aimed shot from an Artillery or a Destroyer shot can outdo the Twin's bullets and may kill it quickly.
