The Thunderbolt was a Tier 4 tank in Arras.io. It could upgrade from the Tornado at Level 45 and may not upgrade further. Its upgrade key is I. It returned as a Daily Tank on December 13th, 2023.

Design

The Thunderbolt's design is identical to that of the Tornado: a circular tank, without barrels, and a large square on top indicating its four Satellites.

Technical

The Satellite Spawner spawns 4 Satellite Drones in quick succession. Upon "shooting" the offensive move will be activated which causes the satellites to get farther from the Thunderbolt. Its satellites can't be destroyed by Walls. Compared to the Tornado, its Satellites seem to orbit slightly faster.

Strategy

• Strong Against: Slow tanks.
• Weak Against: Sniper branch, rammers.

As the Thunderbolt

• In case the Thunderbolt is low on health, avoid using the offensive mode, as other tanks can outrun the satellites while the Thunderbolt has little to no defense.
• Use the fact that your drones or satellites can phase through walls as an advantage. This can be very helpful in certain gamemodes like Assault.

Against the Thunderbolt

• Rammers, such as the Smasher or Booster can be effective against the Thunderbolt while using a good build, because they can take less damage and can easily get in proximity.
• Attacking far away from the Thunderbolt might be effective to do so.
